Are you Living Your Purpose?

In the time of mass hysteria, social isolation and uncertainty, it is easy to lose emotional balance. But you don’t have to.


Instead, you can use this time as an opportunity to look inwards. Spend time with yourself, re-connect with your feelings and reflect on your life.

When was the last time you reflected on your life purpose? Is how you live your life in line with your purpose? Do you even have a purpose? While it’s a big topic and requires significant time and effort to nail down, here is an exercise to get you started.


Ask yourself these questions…

  1. When have you been happiest in your life?

  2. What has made you truly proud of yourself?

  3. What qualities do you most admire in other people?

  4. What makes you feel really alive and energized?

  5. How happy do you feel on an everyday basis?

  6. If you had one week to live, how would you spend that week?

  7. What “shoulds” are overriding your “want tos”?

  8. If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?

  9. What one change could make your life happier?

Based on your answers, are you living the kind of life you are proud of? If yes, congratulations, you are staying truly connected to yourself, keep it up in the future. If not, does that mean you need to make a change?


How big or small does that change need to be? Is it simply tweaking a few daily habits or do you need to correct the entire course of your life? Whatever it is, remember, it is never too late to make that change and live the kind of life you will be proud of.
